After spending years living and working in Bangalore, we unknowingly developed a deep bond with Bangalorian food - the kind that wasn't just delicious, but soulful. Every visit back home sparked the same craving... crispy dosas, soft idlis, sambhar and rasam to die for, served with the warmth, purity, and authenticity we had grown to love.
No matter where we went with our cravings, something was always missing, as after spending years around food that gets everything right our taste buds had discovered something truly special. Nothing else quite matched that vibrant, soulful experience, every other version we tried after that just didn’t hit the same note for us.
That’s when it hit us... what if we brought the real taste home?
As two professionals - Arjun, a software engineer with a mind for structure, and Akriti, a sales and marketing specialist with a pulse on people - we saw more than a problem. We saw an opportunity to create something honest, something respectful of tradition and uncompromising on quality.
That’s how Café Pavitra came into being - not as a business idea, but as a quiet commitment to bring the same purity, warmth, and depth of South Indian food we fell in love with, to the regions where it never truly reached.
